THE TRUSTEES have given the go-ahead for the project to get underway with EKJN (Linlithgow), experienced Conservation Architects, in the role of 'lead consultant' to manage and co-ordinate the whole design team to formulate a plan of action. Morham & Brotchie in Edinburgh, one of the most respected Quantity Surveying practices in the country, has been appointed to support the trustees and design team to successfully deliver the project. The firm has extensive experience of heritage and cultural projects and the often-complex funding arrangements required for the development and delivery of such projects. Brindley Associates (Broxburn), an award-winning and leading creative environmental consultancy, will provide ecological, arboriculture and landscape architecture design services. David Narro Associates (Stirling) will be providing structural engineering services for the project. CFA Archaeology Ltd. (Mussleburgh)will be providing archaeological services including preparing a written scheme of investigation, attending site to conduct a ‘watching brief’, and preparing a written report on completion.
