Giving a fascinating insight into the castle's development, this book was published to comemorate the rescue of Castle Cluggy.  100 pages and lavishly illustrated throughout, this book made a unique and one-of-a-kind gift for history buffs and locals. All proceeds from the sale of this book went to the charity to provide vital funds to save the castle.  Now unvailable to purchase.

GLENTURRET DISTILLERY, Scotland’s oldest working distillery, has a long association with the Ochtertyre estate within which lies Castle Cluggy. The distillery's founders signed an agreement in the 1700s with the neighbouring Ochtertyre estate to be able to use the estate’s peat in order to dry the distillery’s barley. A special and very limited bottling, produced to raise funds for the preservation of Castle Cluggy, flew off the shelves. 570 bottles quickly sold out. The Glenturret Castle Cluggy whisky is a single malt which showcases the harmony of the Glenturret spirit and sherry cask maturation. The strength is 43.0 %. TASTING NOTES: Aged in American and European Sherry casks and Bourbon barrels, this limited edition whisky is stunning - sweet fruit and caramel flirt with sticky ginger cake and vanilla, with hints of oak and light spices. The profits from every bottle sold were donated to the Castle Cluggy Trust charity.
