THIS WEEK the UK government published its recovery plan including a conditional timetable for bringing us out of lockdown. The new message asks us to ‘stay alert’ and has been criticised in some quarters as vague and confusing. Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland have rejected the new message and insist that ‘stay at home’ is still best advice.
